WE TALK ABOUT MUSIC FOR A LIVING. TRACK STAR MADE US PROVE IT.
Turns out interviewing musicians and knowing an unreasonable amount about music eventually gets you invited to prove it.
Riot + Reverie’s fearless overlord, Elena, headed to New York to step to the other side of the microphone as a guest on Track Star, the wildly popular music show created by Jack Coyne and Public Opinion.
The premise is beautifully dangerous for anyone who claims to know music: listen to a song, name the artist, and keep going. What started with everyday New Yorkers has grown into a massive music platform featuring everyone from regular music obsessives to artists including Elvis Costello, David Byrne, Juliette Lewis, and John Fogerty.
So, how did Elena do?
Turns out, pretty damn well.
The episode is officially out in the wild. Watch Elena put an unreasonable amount of otherwise useless music knowledge to work and take on Track Star.

KARIN ANN
Slovak singer-songwriter Karin Ann has built a body of work around identity, vulnerability, freedom, and the uncomfortable parts of growing up. Her music moves between alternative pop, indie, and electronic territory, while her work outside of it has made her an increasingly outspoken voice for LGBTQ+ visibility in Eastern Europe. We’ll be sitting down with Karin Ann for a long-form conversation about the music, the art, and everything underneath it.
