The Six-Month Archive Found Its Forever Home

Turns out six months of Riot + Reverie fits in a box. Barely.

Back in August, we cracked open the archive to celebrate six months of Riot + Reverie. We pulled together things we'd collected along the way and decided to give the whole damn thing away.

Inside were signed records and limited pressings from The Bouncing Souls, The Menzingers, ME. and more, along with live photography featuring Brian Fallon and Dave Hause, a Sing Us Home Festival shirt, and other pieces connected to the music we've covered since this whole thing started.
Every record, photograph and piece of merch came with a little history attached.
Now it all belonged to Fred.

His reaction pretty much says it all:
“This is absolutely ridiculous. Signed records, test presses and photos from The Bouncing Souls, The Menzingers, Brian Fallon, Dave Hause and a bunch more of my favorites.”
Followed by:
“I’m gonna be nerding out over all of this for a while.”
Mission accomplished.

Because that's really what the Archive Drop was about.
Yes, we wanted to celebrate six months. And yes, giving away a giant box of records and music memorabilia is objectively more fun than blowing out candles on a cake.
But every piece in that box has a story behind it.
A record we covered. An artist we talked to. A show we photographed. A moment that became part of Riot + Reverie along the way.
And the best part was getting to pass all of it on to someone who's going to enjoy the hell out of it.
So Fred, turn the records up. Find some wall space for those photos. Wear the hell out of the shirt.
And keep nerding out.
The Riot + Reverie Six-Month Archive has officially found its forever home.

And to everyone who entered, shared the Drop, followed along or found Riot + Reverie somewhere during these first six months, thank you.
You were part of this, too.
YOUR INBOX HAS TERRIBLE TASTE.
We can fix that.
From basement shows to the bands you love.
